Description

The Set must be connected to a Falcon tube.

The O.P.S.™ includes a single-flow needle, 30 cm useful length.

The needle is 17 Gauge O.D., and 18 Gauge I.D. with a double cutting beveled point, and an echogenic end part on 2 cm, and over 5 mm from the distal 3rd cm.
Fluoro Ethylene Propylene (FEP) extension tubing fitted on the needle allows aspiration of the follicular fluid in a Falcon tube (not supplied) sterilized by irradiation.

The O.P.S.™ is supplied with a protective tube.

Two models are available:

Without valve.
With valve: between the puncture needle and the cap, a three-way valve allows aspiration or rinsing of the follicles.

Indications

IVF: Embryo Transfer

Collection of oocytes using celioscopic approach or ultrasound guidance (transvesical, transvaginal, periurethral or endovaginal). The O.P.S.™ allows rapid collection of a maximum quantity of oocytes without trauma. The fractures of the zona pellucida are limited and the storage is optimal: the fertilization level is thus higher.
